General Manager – The Gailes Hotel & Spa

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning SimpsInns team as General Manager of The Gailes Hotel & Spa.

This is a pivotal senior leadership role, overseeing one of Scotland’s leading hospitality destinations, including our 4-star hotel, award-winning spa, leisure club, restaurants, weddings, events and golf facilities.

We’re looking for an inspiring leader who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams and driving commercial success. You’ll work closely with our Operations Director to lead every aspect of the business, from operational excellence and financial performance to people development and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

Proven hotel leadership experience
Wedding & events management experience (essential)
Strong commercial and operational focus
Passion for developing people and creating memorable guest experiences
A hands-on leader who leads by example

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 per year, plus a range of company benefits including gym membership, staff discounts, free parking, cycle to work scheme and more.

Gailes Golf:Leisure is an affordable way to a healthier lifestyle with a wide range of class options and support programme from our trained team, which come as part of your membership.

GG’s COFFEE SHOP

A destination for all the family, any time of the day

GG’s Coffee Shop & Sports Lounge offers tasty menu choices all day. With great coffee and cake and relaxed seating, it’s a great place to catch up with friends. Food served daily from 9am until 5pm, with the bar open until 10pm serving alcoholic beverages, soft drinks plus teas and coffee.

Tables at GG’s on our terrace and inside operate on a first come, first serve basis. All well behaved dogs are welcome at GG’s on the outside terrace or indoors at the Sports Lounge area. Dogs must be kept on a lead and four paws on the floor at all times as we respect all our guests at the premises.

Absolutely perfect. Will definitely be coming back. Positioning of the location is second to none considering I came here to play golf you are literally on the door step to many courses so no wasting time travelling & added bonus its got its own driving range. The food & drink is all reasonably priced & the decor is lovely & beautiful gardens & water features.
