My 5 day stay at Irvine Gailes Hotel on April 2013 was extremely satisfying, we have stayed there the last 2 years on our visits to Scotland with equal satisfaction, our daughter, son in law and adult grandchildren have also stayed there in that period and on our return to Toronto we found my other daughter and grandaughter have booked in there also in early May 2013 and we also hope to return again in 2014, so we have joined the frequent user points scheme so that we can take advantage of the benefits that it provides for our future visits. We were looked after very well during our stay and the level of service was excellent. The facilities at the hotel were as we had expected.

Excellent standards and service from arrival to departure, Could recommend this hotel to anyone and know they wouldn't be disappointed.

WATERSIDE

Just returned home after having a lovely lunch at the Waterside Inn. We were celebrating a 90th birthday for a family friend and the staff made us so welcome. A great choice of lovely food, fast efficient service and an enjoyable time had by all. Look forward to returning there or one of the other Simpsons venues in the area, when we next down.

Had a fantastic stay at the Gailes last weekend. Top class service and lovely place to stay. We were transported to the new cafe/bar Si! which is also part of the group and had a fantastic meal. Will highly recommend to friends and family. Thanks again x

Very convenient location for golf and for Troon and Ardrossan ferries. Beautiful aspect from rear rooms. Clean, well appointed. Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money. Hard to fault.

This Hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Could not fault anything.

A great choice. From the minute we arrived at reception we were made welcome and the room was faultless. Didn't have an evening meal as we ate out in Ayr but the breakfast was fab and will definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the area again when travelling.

“BEST TAPAS OUTSIDE OF THE CITY”

Me and my wife finally got the chance to visit Si last weekend and where not disappointed. We both fancied tapas and left Si totally sated. The patatas bravas , prawns , lamb meatballs , Catalan fish stew and the bread board were all delicious !!!! Décor is very new and modern and works perfectly. The staff are so friendly & efficient adding to a nice relaxed atmosphere . Popped upstairs for a quick look before we left and it looks fabulous and very classy , we'll be back to try the Italian cuisine very soon.

Dined upstairs in the Italian restaurant- delicious. Menu had a great choice and food was delicious. Was more rustic Italian as opposed to your run of the mill spag bol etc. Reasonably priced too! Atmosphere was really good and I'll be back soon!

In 2012 SImpsInns acquired The Riverside Inn just south of Ayr. This quaint country pub and restaurant with massive potential was in need of upgrading so is currently closed for redevelopment. The new look Riverside Inn will boast a modern country pub and restaurant, complete with artisan retail and courtyard coffee shop.
